I came across one on Netflix - Terra Nova.

Terra Nova follows an ordinary family on an incredible journey back in time to prehistoric Earth as a small part of a daring experiment to save the human race. In the year 2149, the world is dying. The planet is overdeveloped and overcrowded, with the majority of plant and animal life extinct. The future of mankind is in jeopardy, and its only hope for survival is in the distant past.

Spielberg was one of the producers, so he used a lot of CGI / Models from Jurassic Park.

Shame they cancelled it after one season and left us up in the air as to what was to happen...

But I'd rate it 9/10 and well worth a watch if you can get it from somewhere.

roamingbard I recently read "The Left Hand of Darkness" by Ursula le Guin. I really really loved it. She puts forwards some interesting ideas about sexuality. Highly recommended. 7 years ago
